The regular season has barely started, but softball (2-2) is already headed to their second tournament, taking on Denton Ryan and Celina Thursday through Saturday at Denton Ryan High School.
“This tournament is important because these are our last games before districts,” head coach Tiffany Thayer said. “So it’s a nice chance for us to polish our skills before then, especially since we kind of fell flat with the last one.”
A chance for improvement is how senior Madison Terry views this tournament.
“The tournament is basically our chance to prove ourselves and what we’re capable of before districts,” Terry said.
