Cold weather will not stop Redhawks soccer from taking the field Friday as they battle it out against Lebanon Trail.
The girls make the short trip to visit the Trailblazers at 5:30 p.m., after not playing their game scheduled Tuesday against Frisco.
“Playing out of order doesn’t matter too much,” head girls coach Kyle Beggs said. “We just try to do what we do and adjust in game to what the other team is doing. We do practice some specific things at times, but it’s not too critical because we try to just concentrate on ourselves.”
On the other hand, the boys will begin at 4:30 p.m. at The Nest with an earlier kickoff time due to the cold weather.
“Outrageous [weather after 5:30],” head boys coach Evan McGee said. “District was influenced by refs. We need a clean sheet, my guys have no struggle playing in the cold.”
