The end of district play creeps closer as the Redhawks soccer teams continue to look for wins on Tuesday when they take on the Centennial Titans.
The girls kick off at 5:30 p.m. at the Nest, after two losses over the weekend to Lebanon Trail and Frisco.
“I hope we win, but just continue to build off of things we learned the last few games,” senior Sydney Boroughs said.
On the other hand, the boys make the short trip to visit the Titians beginning at 7:15.
“Now we’re in fourth and yeah we dropped a couple points the lst couple games,” head boys soccer coach Evan McGee said. “It’s pretty big game for us now.”
The guys are coming off a 5-1 win against the Trailblazers Friday hoping to push that momentum into Tuesday as the Titans are currently at the top of the District 11-5A table.
“The win was huge,” junior Joey Mediaceja said. “We feel a lot more confident playing and we tied Cen-Ten last timed so we’re feeling good about tonight.”
