It was not the Redhawks’ night Tuesday, as the Centennial Titians won over both boys’ and girls’ soccer.
Currently sitting top of the District 11-5A table, the Titans took a 5-0 win over the boys.
“Going into the game we knew that they were undefeated,” sophomore Asher Ervin said. “But it didn’t affect us, they just outplayed us.”
Tuesday was a night of learning for the boys.
“We could have done better at connecting our passing,” Ervin said. “We didn’t have any outstanding plays.”
In a closer game of 2-0, the girls struggled through a new formation according to senior Sydney Boroughs.
“I think we’re working through this new formation and just adjusting to that and everyone’s gameplay,” Boroughs said.
Even though a loss, Boroughs believes there is still something to be proud of.
“I think our speed of play and just overall we played hard and it’s showing improvement,” Boroughs said. “I’m really looking forward to see more progress.”
