Looking for another win after losing 10-1 to Emerson (6-1) Monday, the softball team (5-2) makes the trip to Frisco High (4-3) to take on the Raccoons Friday at 6:00 p.m.
“When we played them in the first round, our lineup showed its strength, and Addison did a great job pitching through their lineup despite coming back from injury,” head coach Tiffany Thayer said. “They’re a scrappy team, so we’ll need to match their energy and focus on the mental side of the game. With just 10 players, depth is always a challenge, but we’ll make the most of what we have. We have a hardworking group, and we’re focused on showing up ready to compete.”
According to senior Francesa Duran, the team is doing everything they can to guarantee a win.
“We’re sticking to our routine—watching film, analyzing matchups, and looking at the best options for our lineup and defensive positioning,” Duran said.
