Seniors who want to add some extra bling to their cap-and-gown outfits have an opportunity to achieve the service cord. Students earn this cord by completing 100 service hours by Monday.
“I will sum your volunteer hours from Xello to get your total volunteer hours for the last four years,” counselor secretary Shannon Webb said. “If you have over 100 hours, you will be distributed a cord to wear at graduation in late May.”
Students will receive their cord at the graduation rehearsal ceremony. To submit their hours, Redhawks will need to log onto Xello through the student portal. From there they can go onto the experiences page and begin recording volunteer hours.
