Softball set for rematch of the ‘Rivalry on Rolater’

The softball team (7-2) ventures down Rolater to take on their in-district rivals Centennial (1-8) for the second time this season Friday at 6:00 p.m.

“We’re putting in a full week of practice, working on the details we need to improve, and sharpening our approach at the plate,” head coach Tiffany Thayer said. “Solid contact and smart at-bats will be key.”

Since the Redhawks pulled off a 13-1 win over the Titans last month, players such as senior Delila Bond are eager for a series sweep.

“We’re going to have to work very hard and grind to get the win,” Bond said. “But we want this.”
