The softball team (9-2) hits the road to challenge Independence (4-7) Friday at 6:30 p.m, in search of a fifth consecutive win and possibly a third consecutive shutout.
“We need to trust in our abilities and have confidence in ourselves today,” head coach Tiffany Thayer said. “If we play our game, stay focused, and believe in what we can do, we’ll be ready to compete.”
Freshman Greer Schurr is confident the Redhawks can pull off a win, but recognizes room for growth.
“We needed to be more adaptable and find ways to put pressure on their defense,” Schurr said.
