Taking home a victory against the Reedy Lions, the girls’ soccer team snatched a 1-0 win at Dr. Pink on Friday, bringing its District 9-5A record to 6-3-1.
“We should’ve beat them by more because we started off slow and we were not moving the ball around really well,” sophomore Zoe Junior said. “The second half was a lot better because we started playing as a team and passing and that’s what lead to our goal.”
Less lucky were the boys, who fell to the Lions 3-1.
“We played pretty well overall, but let them score off of some mistakes,” senior Nicholas Siv said. “In the second half, we couldn’t put enough in the back of the net to come out with a win.”
