Looking to turn things around after being swept by Centennial, the baseball team (2-4) travels to face Heritage (0-6) Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
“[A challenge I’m expecting is] offensively, we have to play better to be able to score more,” sophomore Carson Higgs said.
According to head coach Scott McGarrh, the players are focusing on things they didn’t do well last time.
“We’re focusing on what we didn’t do very well last week,” McGarrh said. “Just some small things that can turn into major things if we don’t address it. Right now, we’re focusing on their pitchers going to pitch at the top of the zone, which most people don’t, so we have to understand what they can and can’t do with that.”
