Get ready to be blown away by one of Plano’s newest restaurant additions: Shake Shack. Opening at the end of March in the newly developed Legacy West, this unique burger joint is a new local hot spot, and it’s surely something you don’t want to miss out on.

Shake Shack first started in 2004 in Madison Square Park in Manhattan, has only two locations here in the area with the other at the Crescent in Uptown Dallas. With an extremely large menu, Shake Shack offers everything from burgers, to fries, to frozen custard treats, to even hot dogs and chicken.

All items on the menu are freshly made, containing the top ingredients that a burger joint can offer. Starting with the first bite of a burger, the first thing you will taste is the fresh meat, topped with their delicious unique sauce and thin lettuce.

On the side, a dish that’s worth getting is the french fries. Served warm and crispy, their fries are a perfect compliment to the burger and the rest of your meal. For your drink, you can choose amongst most sodas, water, or get one of their cool frozen custard shakes. The Mint Oreo shake, which is currently a seasonal drink served at Shake Shack, was filled with crushed up Oreos in the inside, served with sprinkles. Although quite pricey ($5.29), everything in the end is worth it as this place serves some of the best food in the area.

With music playing in the background, Shake Shack delivers a relaxing and chill vibe for everyone there which makes it a perfect place to go with family or friends. The line may be long,  but it’s all worth the wait once you take a bite into one of their burgers.
