The tennis team avenged its only loss of the season in its biggest match of the year as the team defeated Frisco 10-5 on Saturday to win the District 9-5A championship. The team opens area play Tuesday morning against Sherman in a home match that is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m.

Also competing this weekend, the swim team took part in the Southlake-Carroll Dragon Hunt meet Saturday. Competing against 10 other teams, the boys finished second to Caroll but outscored every other Frisco team that took part.
