Wingspan: What is your favorite part about playing baseball?

Wixon: “My favorite part about playing baseball is playing with my friends and competing every day to get better.” 

Wingspan: How long have you been playing baseball? 

Wixon: “I have been playing baseball since I was 4 years old and I started playing when I saw my brother play.” 

Wingspan: Who is your biggest motivator?

Wixon: “Probably my brother because I try to be as good as him and he helps me improve a lot.” 

Wingspan: What is the toughest challenge you face as an athlete?

Wixon: “The toughest challenge is going out every day and competing even when you have failed in the past and not giving up.” 

Wingspan: What has been your favorite part about this season?

Wixon: “This season, my favorite part has been winning and making the playoffs.”

Wingspan: How has playing baseball shaped you as an individual?

Wixon: “It has helped me have more work ethic and not give up as easily when I fail.”
