Food, free swag, and meet tweets are all on the menu for Tuesday’s “Leaving the Nest” senior breakfast from 9:35-10:35 a.m. in the auditorium.

“This is the second year of the leaving the nest senior breakfast an we have it just to celebrate the seniors and get some important information about graduation,” counselor Staci Stokes said. “It’s also just chance to have fun for seniors. I look forward to the raffles we give out gift cards, Keurigs, t-shirts, and $100s dollars worth of stuff so it’s going to be fun.”

Senior James Matthis is looking forward to one of the final times he will be with his classmates.

“I feel excited for the senior breakfast because it’s one of the last hurrays of senior year and you know once we go to college it’s not like we are really going to connect,” Matthis said. “We might keep in touch with a few of our friends. We are going to be able to connect with majority of student body so it’s one of last hurrahs. I look forward just to connecting with my friends , talking with friends, and hanging with my friends and mostly importantly a free breakfast.”
