Nidhi Thomas is a senior and this is her 4th year writing for Wingspan! In her free time, she enjoys doing things like reading, writing, journaling, playing the piano, and listening to music. She’s looking forward to what comes during her final year on Wingspan as a senior!

![Band and orchestra students from Vandeventer Middle School and Fowler Middle School visited the Nest last Thursday for pre-UIL. “Performing at Liberty [was] a lot more professional compared to performing at Vandeventer,” Vandeventer Middle School student 8th grader Ryo Amemiya said. “I feel like that prepares middle school students to perform as a high schooler in the future, [and] I also think [this was a] good opportunity to get to know how the high school band program works.”](https://libertywingspan.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Untitled-design-2-1-1200x800.png)
