Christina Huang is a sophomore in her first year officially with Wingspan. She enjoys reading, writing, playing the piano and viola, and finding/creating wallpapers for her phone which she will likely never use. She’s looking forward to the opportunity to better her writing and find the good in scorned books this year through her book blog: Every Book Has a Silver Lining.

The FISD Parent Sanctuary and Lending Library is a resource to aid those living or working with disabilities, created by the district’s special education department after parents’ requests for assistance. The library has been open to parents and teachers in the district 9 a.m.–2 p.m. every Friday since its opening in 2015, and after the reopening on Feb. 28, has been able to aid visitors more thoroughly with the recent renovations.
