People interested in job opportunities at Frisco ISD, whether that be teaching, bus driving, child nutrition, or more, can learn more at Friday’s FISD Job Fair from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Frisco Administration Building.
At this job fair, hiring supervisors will provide information about all district positions with the exception of school administrators. Anyone interested in attending the event must RSVP through a Google form.
Counselor Ryan Kiefer, who has been on the hiring side of job fairs, believes they provide a valuable opportunity for employers to meet prospective employees.
“Job fairs are a great way for employers to be able to see a large sample of prospective employees at one time so they can fill those positions of need in the organization,” Kiefer said.
Percussion director Thomas Borgman sees the job fairs as a chance for those interested in FISD job positions to gain exposure to the FISD community.
“As a teacher working in Frisco, I know that it’s such a positive community,” Borgman said. “You know, exposing other individuals and adults that want to work in a district that is this strong, I will always encourage, and I think that the job fair is a great way to get that exposure out there.”
