Volleyball took on Wakeland Tuesday night in the District 9-5A opener.

The Redhawks got off to a solid start by beating the Wolverines 25-19 in the first set.

After the strong entrance, the Redhawks would cool off, dropping the last three sets 22-25, 25-27, and 22-25, falling to the Wolverines 3-1.

The team looks to bounce back against their next opponent, Reedy, at 6:30 p.m. on Friday in The Nest.
