District 9-5A play is in full swing with the softball team returning to the field at Lone Star on Wednesday at 7:15 p.m. to take on the Rangers.

Sitting with a district record of 1-3, the team hopes to double its win total.

“The team has been working really hard every day,” junior Lauren Ransom said. “All of the practices have been preparing us for district games. We are expecting a win tonight and great play from everyone.”
