Verification of Enrollment form will be returned to in person only due to a Austin regulation requiring original signatures.

Just three days after the front office announced that Verification of Enrollment forms can be accessed online 24/7, the school sent an email on Wednesday to students and parents informing them online VOE access will end.

The sudden reversal is a result of the school finding out the state requires an ‘original signature’ to obtain a permit or drivers license.

Some students were excited for the new change but will be forced to go back to the old process.

“I remember I was trying to get mine before school started and so I had to find a day that they were here, so it was kind of a pain for me,” sophomore Justin McBride said in a previous Wingspan article. “If it would have been online, it would have been very nice because, especially for people who get their license over the summer, it’s just more effective, because you don’t have to find when the school is open, and make sure that someone is there to get it for you.”
