Freshman up for VYPE player of the year

Winning District 9-5A Newcomer of the Year has set freshman Jack Abare up for VYPE DFW Public School Boys Soccer Player of the Year presented by Sun & Ski Sports, with voting open until Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
Showing persistent effort throughout the 2018-19 season, Abare sets his goals for next year.
“It’s an honor to be up for this award because it shows that my hard work throughout the season paid off,” he said. “Next year, I hope to make it to playoffs and just improve my game even further.”
