The Redhawk volleyball team earned a decisive 3-0 win (25-9 , 25-9, 25-20) over the Reedy Lions Tuesday at Reedy.

“I think last night was good,” senior Jenna Wennas said. ”I thought Reedy was good, but we played way better. We played really well in the beginning, and got us a good head start, and I think it really gives a lot of confidence for the rest of the season, and our game Friday against Centennial.”

Head volleyball coach Ui Womble was proud of the performance, and hopeful that the wins will continue throughout the season.

“I was very pleased with our team, the last few games have gotten off to a slow start and we definitely did not last night,” Womble said. “We went and were very aggressive at the beginning of the ball game which set us up to be successful and in control of the game for the whole match.”
