Making it their 20th consecutive loss, Redhawks tried to keep up with the top 5A team in the state, but fell short to Lone Star, 66-6. With one game left in the season, Redhawks gear up for their final game against Wakeland on Friday, Nov. 8, 2019.

Senior Night for the football team didn’t go the way any of the Redhawks had hoped as they took on the state’s number one 5A team, the Lone Star Rangers at Toyota Stadium on Friday.

The Rangers jumped out to a 38-0 halftime lead and didn’t slow down until the 4th quarter when they led 66-0.

The Redhawks got on the scoreboard in the 4th, but could only reach the end zone once as the team lost 66-6, their 20th consecutive lost.

“Going in we knew we were going to be going up against some really good players,” senior Keavon Wright said. “They’ve been real successful and it was hard to compete.”
