Losing the first set by 10 points (25-15), the Redhawks won the next three sets (26-24, 25-20, 25-18) to earn the 3-1 win, and bringing Lebanon Trail’s 11 game winning streak to an end. The Redhawks own winning streak moved to 11 games with the team now 9-0 in district play.

The volleyball team was supposed to end their first round of District 9-5A against Lone Star, Friday night but that game has been rescheduled to Nov. 7th, Instead the team is starting their second round of district play Saturday night against Reedy at the Lions den.

“Having a night off is really nice,” senior Caitlyn Brown said. “Besides getting to go to the football game, it gives us time to prepare for Saturday’s game and round two.”

Currently sitting in 3rd place with a 5-2 record the team knows they still have work to do.

“We aren’t super happy with where we are,” Brown said. “Our game plan is to beat the teams we already beat and hope they lose to someone else, and then we want to beat Frisco and Lebanon Trail.”
