The Redhawks hope to shoot and score Friday with both teams taking on the Independence Knights. The girls play at 6:30 p.m. at Independence with the boys hosting the Knights starting at 8:00 p.m. in The Nest.

Senior Maya Jain and the team have been practicing since Tuesday’s loss to Memorial to prepare for Friday’s game.

“We go through scout like we do all the other games,” Jain said via text. “We watch film, and try to go through their looks the best we can.”

On the boys side, the Redhawks are coming off a win Tuesday with senior Park McCurdy feeling his team will put forth their best effort to succeed Friday night.

“Our previous games have given us an attitude of desperation, as we have struggled for the past couple, so we are going to play desperate and do whatever it takes to get us a win,” McCurdy said via text.
