It was a night of celebration Tuesday night as both boys and girls left the field with wins over Heritage in District 9-5A play.

The girls kicked off first at home at 5:30 p.m., finishing the night by scoring six goals to beat the Coyotes 6-2.

Leading the way for Redhawks was junior Kennedy Cloutz with three goals, and freshman Brooklyn Miller with two more.

“I think we did good with ball control and feeding into lanes and through balls,” Miller said.

Following the girls’ game, the boys traveled to The Den and came out with a 2-0 win.

“Last night our work rate and intensity was really good,” junior Jack Abare said. “I think that’s one of the main reasons why we won.”
