February. The month that holds the date to celebrate love. Full of reds and pinks and you finally get the courage to ask that special someone to be your Valentine, and they say yes. Then that once great moment of happiness turns into a nervous fear as you don’t even know what to get them! Well, luckily, Wingspan is flying to your rescue.

The-friends-only-Valentine: Get her chocolates, that one single flower that’s her favorite and with a cute teddy bear, but don’t go overboard. This is only a cute friendly Valentine’s Day unless you think differently and if that special someone doesn’t know you think otherwise, maybe you should tell them. After all, it is the perfect day to be thankful for someone and show your love.

For a boy, get him the video game he has been excited for to come out and he will never be more thankful for you.

The-couple-for-less-than-a-year-Valentine: DO NOT and I repeat, DO NOT, get them jewlery. I know it seems like a long time but that would be sweeter for her birthday but if you want to get her jewelry, Kendra Scott won’t steer you wrong. I would request either a necklace or earrings but make sure it is either black or their favorite color. If you don’t get her jewelry, get a big bouquet of flowers, the biggest teddy bear at Kroger and the biggest heart-shaped chocolate box of candies with a good Hallmark card; no $1 cards!

For him, Vineyard Vines is going to be the best for that preppy boyfriend but for any other boyfriend, just get him those awesome shoes he won’t stop obsessing about to the point where you don’t know if he loves you more than them.

The-couple-for-over-a-year-Valentine: Go take her to a nice dinner, not fast food nice, but a really nice dinner. Make sure to get her a cute James Avery ring or you can never go wrong with Kendra Scott. Try to get it engraved with something you both will think is thoughtful and cute.

DON’T get her jewelry from Brighton, it reminds girls of their mom or grandma. Make sure you get a cute little teddy bear, not a big one because you got her some nice jewelry and don’t forget her favorite flowers.

For that special guy, get him something you know he will wake up and think of you everyday: a watch. I know, it sounds stupid but wait. You can never go wrong with a watch because they will think of you when they wear it, be on time for your date, and never forget when you told him to meet you.

It’s so easy to overboard on gifts, so be cautious and give them something from the heart, unless you want to go the buy-a-gift-and-that-will-be-enough route. Love is an emotion that doesn’t cost a thing, boyfriend and girlfriend, best friends or friends. As long as you show your love and affection and that you are grateful for theirs in return, that is what February 14th is about. But, if you get them that cute gift for them to always remember you love them, add something thoughtful you know they will notice. Trust me, they will be thankful you knew.
