Track and field heads to the McKinney North Invitational to show off their skills in McKinney. 

“In this meet, I will be running the 100-meter dash,” senior Evan Hill Jr. said “ I’ve been practicing block starts all week and just focusing on getting out fast and low.”

Many athletes have expectations for this meet and are excited to improve their times and display their work in practice.

“I’m looking to lower my times and hopefully get good placings. To improve, I have been practicing multiple hours a day, doing rigorous workouts, and hitting the weight room,” senior Maria Johannes said. “I’m looking forward to getting to compete with my friends, especially the seniors since this is one of our last meets.”
