Baseball seeks to be more aggressive versus Reedy
March 26, 2021
Sitting in fourth place in District 9-5A, the baseball team travels to take on the first place Reedy Lions, Friday night.
“We need to get back to being who we are,” head coach Scott McGarrh said. “Aggressive on the bases, gap to gap hitters. We need to put the pressure on them.”
Even though the Lions are three places ahead in the standings, the two teams are separated by just one game in the standings with Reedy at 5-1 and the Redhawks 4-2.
Coming off a 5-2 loss to Wakeland High School on Tuesday, the Redhawks feel there’s no need to change their game plan.
“We are who we are,” McGarrh said. “We are fast, like to run and be the aggressor. We got away from that against Wakeland.”
