After winning three straight District 9-5A games, baseball’s winning streak came to a 5-2 end Tuesday night against Wakeland High School.

“Honestly they were not the better team by any means,” senior Will Glatch said. “We had a dry spell at the plate and struggled with hitting.”

Moving forward to Friday’s game, Glatch said the team is hoping to spend extra time on their batting.

“Defensively we played well,” Glatch said. “We just couldn’t back it up with our bats.”
