School board to meet Monday night
The Texas Education Agency has released a new set of guidelines that suggests new protocols involving parent and trustee involvement in the evaluation of what books are appropriate for public school libraries.

The Frisco ISD Board of Trustees holds its monthly meeting Monday from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Student and staff achievements will be recognized during the meeting, including girls’ basketball making it to state, Academic Decathlon results, and achievements at the powerlifting, swimming, and diving state meets.
Other topics being discussed are the issues that surfaced in last week’s STAAR testing and COVID-19 vaccination reports.
