Welcome back, everyone! As school starts up again, so does this blog. I am very excited to continue this year on Acoustic Avenues. Here, I like to review albums, talk about new artists, and ones who have been around for a while. I also enjoy telling you guys about the emotional connections that I myself have made with music and how others can do the same.

Last year I did a lot of individual album reviews, which I really enjoyed, but this year I want to explore more genres of music that aren’t just the ones I normally listen to. I also want to shed some light on newer artists that I discover along the way. I am constantly looking for new music so I don’t doubt that I will have a lot to talk about. Last year I transitioned into Spotify and it has proven to be a much easier way for me to find new music and discover new artists.

Music is something I am very passionate about. It’s not just about a beat or a lyric that sounds pretty but rather sends a message straight to my heart. Music is the world’s universal language and I can’t wait to continue on this journey with you all this year.
