The University of North Texas and Frisco ISD are hosting two informational webinars and one of them will be in early November.

The UNT Now! Program is a 2 year, project-based experience beginning a student’s junior year.

At the end of two years, graduates will earn 42 credit hours for college.

One student on campus enrolled in the program is senior Sydney Bishop.

“I think you should know that the rigor is just the same as any college class, and it’s not the same as your high school classes at all and you can have these hard questions, I mean, you can have these hard conversations during class, and it’s really nice, and they treat you like adults,” Bishop said. “So it’s much different than high school. I knew one of the biggest things was when we could just walk out and go to the bathroom, we didn’t have to fill out a pass or ask, it was very, like, shocking I guess, they treat you just like any other college student.”

It is encouraged that current sophomores and their families attend the virtual webinar from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday for further information.

From November 11, 2022 to February 4, 2022, the program application will be available on the FISD UNT Now! website.
