Taking on the Coyote Classic Tournament on Tuesday, the boys’ golf team headed to the Irving Golf Club to see what they could do.
“Competing so often gives us the opportunity to test out our ability for when districts come along,” senior Bryson Swallow said. “Hours of hitting golf balls everyday like we have been doing for months is really what it’s going to take.”
With a week off for spring break just around the corner, the team is gearing up for the district tournament March 30-31.
“Stretching and conditioning has been something we’ve really had to focus on the last few weeks,” head coach Shannon Glidwell said. “We have done really well so far so I am excited to see how the team progresses.”
