Coming out of spring break, the Redhawks baseball team returns to The Nest on Tuesday at 7:00 for a District 9-5A game against the Trial Blazers of Lebanon Trail High School

“I’m 100% confident that we will secure our second district win,” senior Jeremy Hussey said. “We are really good at coming out of the gate strong, but we need to keep the intensity throughout the rest of the game. Our coaches have done a great job preparing us for district, we just have to execute what we’ve been practicing.”

Junior third-baseman Cooper Wixon is adamant that achieving a win requires each player to contribute. He aims to take responsibility for himself by setting goals for the night.

“I want to go 3 for 3 and make some nice plays in the field,” Wixon said. “We’re pretty close to Lebanon Trail right now, we gotta win these games.”
