The school is hosting a trade hair this Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the library for all students.

Chemistry teacher Joseph Delarios believes that this trade fair will allow for students to see other paths that don’t include college.

“I’m taking my students to the trade fair tomorrow because it’s a great opportunity to kind of expand their mind on really what’s possible beyond high school,” Delarios said. “A lot of the times, especially recently, in the past 5-10 years there’s been a big push for everyone to go to college.”

The trade fair will include a wide variety of trades including cosmetology, welding, and collision technology and corporations such as Amazon Warehousing, UPS, and Omni Hotel in Frisco as well as include certification programs such as real estate and vet technology.

It will also include representatives from the Frisco PD, Frisco Fire, FISD Custodial, and FISD nutrition as well as many more.
