UIL team goes for another district championship
April 1, 2016
Academic UIL teams will compete in District 9-5A district meet at Lone Star High School on Friday and Saturday where the team will seek to duplicate last year’s feat.
“I think we have a really good shot at winning districts for the second time in a row,” campus UIL director Jeff Schrantz said.
This weekend’s competition is the third competition of the school year for the academic UIL team. While the team competed in the Flower Mound High School invitational and the Prosper High School invitational, the Lone Star High School district competition is what will determine school advancements on to region and state.
“I’m excited to see how everybody does,” Schrantz said. “We’ve been working towards this all year and now, the fun starts.”
