Rahmin Jawaid is always smiling and ready for new adventures. She is stoked to be a senior and is excited for what the future holds for her and the rest of the Class of 2016.

As a California  native born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Rahmin can occasionally become a milk tea addict, wannabe Hollister model, or a beach hipster. She enjoys watching and cheering on her favorite sports teams, bicycling through enormous parks, and taking pictures of just about everyone and everything.

She hates birds and fish quite a bit. Rahmin is grateful that Netflix and Spotify exist. Even though history is not her best subject, Rahmin loves learning about the past cultures and events of the world.

When she’s not being a busy bee at school, work, or the gym, you can find her shopping, reading, or jamming out to One Direction. She hopes to travel to different cities all around the world and to one day adopt 10 lovely kittens. One kitten shall be named Ron Swanson.

Students are back on campus taking the first in-person AP tests since 2019, with testing taking place every school day until May 17.  “The start of AP testing went better than expected,” senior Caitlyn Brown said. “It was a bit nerve wracking coming into testing after having a year off, but it went exactly as it had before, setting testing off to a great start.”
