The cafeteria recently introduced a new source of pizza known as Smart Mouth Pizza, cooked and prepared by chefs before lunch periods, to replace the processed pizza previously sold.

“We have had Smart Mouth Pizzas in middle schools for quite a while now, but for high schools it only just started at the high schools a few months ago and it’s been kind of a staggering process since,” FISD nutritional employee Brandon Tsay said. “We started ours just this past week.”

With only a week in sales, Smart Mouth Pizzas have already become a popular choice amongst many students.

“The pizzas have been really good,” Tsay said. “Our sales have tripled on the pizzas.”

Smart Mouth Pizzas will replace the previously sold Pizza Hut pizzas.

“Our food has to follow certain nutritional requirements,” Tsay said. “They’re just as healthy, but they taste much better.”
