FISD Board discussed budget, poll locations, and more Monday

Monday’s regularly scheduled Board of Trustees meeting discussed a variety of subjects. On the agenda was student and staff recognitions, the 2023-2024 budget, and polling locations.

The Frisco ISD Board of Trustees held their monthly meeting Monday night. 

The Board recognized ten students from across the district who scored perfect scores on the ACT or SAT. They also recognized teachers who participated in Team Focus, a group of teachers who come together for monthly meetings to obtain input on various topics including staff morale, unplugging for the holidays, and goal setting.

The Board also passed a resolution regarding employee pay during the winter storm that led to school closure for four days. Continued wage payments for all regular employees was authorized.

In addition, the Board recommended a motion to approve the 2023-2024 budget proposal for new positions. 

The early voting locations for the upcoming Board of Trustees election. Near campus, voters can go to the Collin College Frisco Campus and Frisco Fire Station #8.
