The Redhawks softball team continued their winning streak on Friday night, defeating Lebanon Trail 10-5 in the last game of District 10-5A’s first round.

For head coach Baylea Higgs, the victory represents a display of laser-focused collaboration between the players.

“[It was] another total team effort [for the] big win,” Higgs said.

Senior Lixangely Martinez Lozada has a similar take, highlighting just how crucial the ability to operate as a team is to the sport.

“I feel proud of my teammates and of myself having a great game,” Martinez Lozada said. “We were supporting each other and never gave up.”
