Wingspan: What is the best part about liberty baseball? What would you tell someone who’s looking to join?

Thorsen: “The team is the best part because everyone is just really close to each other and all my friends are on the team so we hangout outside of baseball too. I would tell someone that’s looking to join that the coaches are really nice and our team is like a family.”

Wingspan: Who has been your biggest motivator?

Thorsen: “Jack Dehnisch probably because he has pushed me on and off the field to become better everyday.”

Wingspan: How has playing baseball impacted your life?

Thorsen: “It’s made me be able to keep myself more accountable and taught me how to be a real person.”

Wingspan: Do you have any pre game rituals?

Thorse: “I eat Chipotle and down a Monster before every game.”
