In this weekly blog, senior Haley Ward shares a little bit of everything: deep dives on her favorite topics, her fashion favorites, and how to make the most out of your high school years.

This year I am pulling myself out of my comfort zone!

I joined Wingspan my sophomore year and immediately started writing about sports, which I then continued doing for two years. I loved writing about sports on campus and I truly am so grateful that I was able to learn about all of the different sports the school has to offer. With that being said, this is the first year where I am writing something other than sports. I am challenging myself to write about my ideas this year, and so I am starting this blog!

It is the beginning of the end for me, my senior year, but I am so excited to share my guide on how to make the most out of your high school years. Over the summer my brain has been filled with different things I want to share. In this blog you will read just about anything that comes into my mind and everything in between.

Whether you want something to read when you are feeling bored, or you truly are looking for tips on being a high schooler, this blog is for you!

Haley Ward is a senior and in her third year with Wingspan. On campus, she serves as Student Council President, she is on the Varsity cheer team, and she is a member of National Honor Society. She loves spending time with her friends at Younglife, shopping with her mom, and spending time with her family and dog. She aims to be like the journalists from her top movies, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and The Devil Wears Prada!
