Following its first victory of the season last week, the tennis team is looking to come out swinging as they play the Memorial Warriors Tuesday at 4 p.m.
Assistant tennis coach Neil Grobler has a very specific strategy for success in this match.
“We [can’t] beat ourselves [mentally],” Grobler said.”[We have to] put returns into play with a low number of double faults.”
Even using this method to focus, however, sophomore Noyonika Banerjee acknowledges the match is going to be close.
“I think we’re prepared, but it’s going to be a hard match, even if we have a chance of winning,” Banerjee said. “Either team could win [because] it just comes down to a few matches.”
