Volleyball defeated Braswell on Friday in four sets, continuing their non-district winning streak.
“Braswell was a good team, so it was a great win for us,” head coach Eighmy Dobbins said. “MJ McCurdy, Jaiden Harris, and Aziyah Farrier were all strong offensively, and Brooklyn Shelton was digging everything.”
Having a four-day weekend break after the win, the Redhawks returned to school Tuesday to immediately get back to work as the team takes on Lone Star at 6:30 home at The Nest.
“Coming off the break, we need to have our heads in the game,” junior Andrea Juneau said. “We need to keep our communication up defensively and be ready to play from the beginning.
Lone Star is the Redhawks final game before beginning district play Friday against Emerson.
“We need to just clean up this game and finalize,” junior Sophie Paulk said. “We can finalize our strategies and lineups.
