Three visual camps are being held in April by the Band Leadership Team which will teach incoming freshmen how to march and help older members can refresh their memory on the material.
Band visual camp seeks to welcome incoming freshman
Closing out District 10-5A season with a record of 7-7, the Redhawks will now advance to playoffs. Their final game was held Thursday against the Titians, with the Redhawks achieving a 2-0 victory.
In their final moments baseball earns a playoff spot
Red Rhythm is hosting their annual spring show in the auditorium on Friday and Saturday at 6 p.m. Tickets are $10 for both days with staff tickets available for free.

With a loss earlier in the week to Centennial, the Redhawks must beat the Titans Friday to secure a playoff spot. There is currently a four way tie for fourth, and one game left in the season.

Entering their last unit, English 1 classes dive into the classic, Romeo and Juliet. “Were just working on a dialectical journal which is kind of just jotting down your thoughts and feelings about it and preparing questions for the seminar, English teacher Shelby Neary said.

From the Ford Center, to Kuykendall Stadium, band director Jamie Weaver has led the Redhawks through countless shows at dozes of stadiums. Now after 30 years of teaching, Weaver is retiring at the end of the 2023-24 school year. “I can only hope I have had any impact,” Weaver said. “I think teaching is more archaeology and less gardening: we only help students discover what’s already buried somewhere inside themselves, most of the planting and nurturing comes from home and upbringing.”
