Volleyball continues to hold first place title in District 10-5A after a 3-0 sweep against Walnut Grove. “We are really happy with the outcome, we are proud of ourselves for building on our wins,” head coach Eighmy Dobbins said.

Taking on a team they knew little about, the Redhawk volleyball team was still able to hit the road and defeat new District 10-5A foe, the Walnut Grove Wildcats, in a 3-0 sweep on Tuesday.

We are really happy with the outcome, we are proud of ourselves for building on our wins,” head coach Eighmy Dobbins said. “They were pretty much what we expected, they fought hard and had some good servers.”

Although the Redhawks may be more talented, sophomore Morgan Ferguson believes the bonds the team shares put the Redhawks above the Wildcats.

“From today’s game I learned that no matter how skilled a team can be it really matters how close of friends and teammates each person can be to each other,” Ferguson said. “Overall, we came together and played point by point, and we got the outcome we wanted.”
