The Frisco ISD Board of Trustees held its monthly meeting Tuesday evening to discuss many topics including future-ready spotlights and various approval plans. This month’s future ready focus area is basic conditions of learning, and the board voted to nominate Gopal Ponangi for the Frisco Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors.

The Frisco ISD Board of Trustees held its monthly meeting Tuesday evening to discuss many topics including future-ready spotlights and various approval plans.

This month’s future ready focus area is basic conditions of learning. The principal of Taylor Elementary, Christy Garza, and the principal of Memorial High School, Phillip Potter, conducted a short presentation to show what campuses are doing regarding this focus area.

In other agenda action, after a unanimous vote by the board, Gopal Ponangi was nominated for the Frisco Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors.

The 2023-24 Campus Improvement plans were promptly approved afterward. The campus improvement plans are similar to district level improvement plans that were approved at the September Board Meeting. This approval will officially mark the start of campus level improvements which differs from the previous improvements for the district as a whole.

A recording of the meeting and copy of the meeting agenda, along with live broadcasts, recordings, and meeting agendas for previous and future meetings, can be found at: https://friscoisdtx.new.swagit.com/videos/274143
