Taking time to correct their mistakes and recover from injuries, the Redhawk football team is back after their bye-week to take on Centennial Friday at 7:00 p.m. at Kuykendall Stadium.
“Well, I think we, you know, having a week off last week was perfect,” head coach Matt Swinnea said. “We got healed up, and so hopefully, we are hungry for the last three games, and that starts with Centennial.”
After the bye-week, senior Ben Doucettee is feeling more confident for Friday’s game.
“I’m not really nervous for the game because I’m confident in the work we put in during the bye week and the practices this week,” Doucette said.
Centennial currently has a record of 1-5, just one game better than the Redhawks record of 0-6.
“I hope we are able to beat Centennial tonight and contain their running back,” Doucette said. “Because that’s the only thing they have that scares us.”
