Snickers, sour patch kids, and skittles are replacing flutes, clarinets, and horns in the band parking lot on Wednesday as it is time for the ninth annual Trunk R Treat hosted by the band.
Dozens of clubs, organizations, classes, and teams are expected to take over the band parking lot tonight for the event.
“I think it’s a lot of fun,” yearbook advisor Jeannie Taillat said. “I think it’s a great opportunity for clubs to get together, show their school spirit and in a way that you know offers an opportunity to the kids to come out and enjoy their parents’ workplace so it’s a really family and school spirit event.”
Students such as senior Ben Doucette are looking forward to tonight’s event.
“Yeah I’m excited,” Doucette said. “I mean it’s nice to be able to like spend some time with people I might not spend time with outside of school”
Trunk R Treat will run from 6 to 8 p.m. in the band parking lot for everyone to enjoy.
